Master of ESG in Logistics

The topic of ESG in logistics has been included in the agenda of the Women in Logistics Forum since 2022, when we awarded the activity in line with sustainable development for the first time.

The competition implemented as the part of the Women in Logistics Forum was initiated by and is necessary for the community gathered around the Forum. The aim of this exclusive distinction is to promote best practices in the ESG area and activities in line with sustainable development, and above all, to distinguish companies that exemplary implement ESG strategies in their organizations.

The CRSD Directive on corporate sustainability reporting has been in force since December 2022. It imposes new requirements for non-financial reporting on ESG activities (Environmental, Social, Corporate Governance) – for now, this applies to large companies, but this obligation is to be extended from 2024 to other companies, depending on their size and meeting certain criteria, including employment and revenue. These also include companies in the logistics industry, whose best practices we want to appreciate and promote.
